Our Story
Hi!
We are Steve and Emily, and we are Upstage Images
​​​Based in the lovely market town of Brackley, on the border of Northamptonshire and Oxfordshire, we love working together to create interesting and dynamic images that grab attention.

Steve​
"As a technically minded person, I really enjoy the challenges of photography and lighting, and draw on my experience of stage and event lighting to create images that stand out and have a theatrical feel."
Emily​​
"As an artist and painter, I love bringing a creative eye to a project. I enjoy exploring composition and angles within photography, as well as the interplay of colours and shadows. Being heavily involved in theatre for most of my life, I also know the impact and importance of good photos for advertising and marketing, but also in capturing those fleeting moments and memories on stage."
Our Approach​

With backgrounds in coaching and teaching, we are comfortable working with a wide range of people and bring strong communication skills to help us convey ideas and concepts.
​
Steve is usually found behind the camera while Emily assists with lighting, posing, and capturing behind-the-scenes photo and video.
As a performer, Emily is more than happy to be in front of the camera when we are exploring new concepts and ideas!

We enjoy working as a team and bouncing ideas between us to create our final output.
